Buffalo Sabres

The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. The Buffalo Sabres compete in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. Founded in 1970, the Buffalo Sabres play their home games in the HSBC Arena. Coach Lindy Ruff has led the Buffalo Sabres to 5 division championships. The team have yet to win a Stanley Cup, however, the Buffalo Sabres have 2 conference championships under their belt. The Buffalo Sabres play in blue, gold, silver and white team colors. The Buffalo's first logo was used from 1970–96. In 2006, it returned as the alternate logo used on their third throwback jersey.
