The New Orleans Saints were awarded their franchise in 1966, appropriately on All Saints day. Since then, the New Orleans Saints struggled to really make their mark on the NFL. That was until Jim Finks took control and transformed the New Orleans Saints into real winners. From 1987 to 1992, the New Orleans Saints advanced to the playoffs 4 times and won the NFC Western Division in 1991. Though their record might not be so consistent today, the New Orleans Saints still pack a wallop. They stole the playoff title from St Louis Rams for their first playoff win in 2000 and made the NFC champion ship game in 2006.
