Detroit Pistons

The Detroit Pistons are an American Basketball team based in the Detroit metropolitan area. Joining the NBA in 1948, the Detroit Pistons have won the NBA Central Division title 11 times, in 1955, 1956, 1988, 1989, 1990, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. The owner of the Detroit Pistons; their general manager is Joe Dumars; their head coach is John Kuester. The Detriot Pistons play in royal, red and white team colors. Prior to the 1988–89 season, the Detroit Pistons moved to Auburn Hills to play home games at The Palace of Auburn Hills. On August 7, 2009, the Pistons signed Ben Wallace to a 1 year contract worth $1.3 million.
