The Charlotte Bobcats are a professional basketball team based in North Carolina. The team is part of the NBA’s Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference. The Charlotte Bobcats play their home games at Time Warner Cable Arena. Owner Robert Johnson paid $300 million for the Charlotte Bobcats franchise in 2003. However, Forbes currently estimates the team's value at $284 million. Michael Jordan was brought in as head of basketball operations for the Charlotte Bobcats and is the second largest shareholder. The Charlotte Bobcats logo features an orange bobcat head on a blue and silver basketball.
